Pet-friendly areas in Garland
As a pet sitter in Garland, I love all the pets I meet. There are so many of them in our neighborhoods in Garland, Sachse, Murphy, and Wylie!
Almost every day you can see people out and about walking their dogs near the Firewheel Golf Course in Garland. And other neighborhoods in Sachse, Murphy, and Wylie also have lots of pets. Wherever you go, people are often having conversations about their pets. They talk about different rescue groups in their various communities, and of course, they are fostering pets. Whether you’re attending a yoga class, going shopping, or at church, you’ll always find lots of folks in deep in discussion about their fur-babies.

Also, a big shoutout to the kindest, most generous, and caring veterinarian ever: Dr. Pipes. He works at Countrybrook Animal Hospital on Lavon Road in Garland. His office is always crowded and busy. And don’t forget about PetSmart on North Garland Road! It is a great place to stock up on supplies! Don’t forget to say hi to a cute puppy who is taking his person shopping, or see cats that are up for adoption. Wonderful store to take the grandkids to see the fish, hamsters, birds, and many other cute small animals. Word of advice: the grandkids’ parents are often not nearly as excited about you purchasing these as gifts without their permission.
