Erwin Park is a wonderful place to take a trek for Sachse pet lovers.
Erwin Park is one of my favorite places when I am pet sitting or out walking my own dog. The trail traverses so many different terrains that it’s never monotonous. You’ve got sweeping plains with steep-ish grades. There are small valley-like sections with wooded areas on and off. You can find some of the best hills in the metroplex here. Not too steep but enough for you and your dog to have fun getting through them.
The fact that bikers love this trail is a bonus when it comes to the upkeep. The DFW DORBA group has gone to great efforts to keep the trail up as well as put in several bridges and switchbacks. It’s fun to walk your dog along them. It’s even more fun to watch those bikers swing through these areas. The trails are so narrow in spaces that it almost looks like the bikers are going to get hung up – but they don’t.
Erwin Park is a fun trail with lots of activity for your pet and you. It’s a great place for people watching and beautiful country.

First of all I am an animal lover and always enjoy the clients. Secondly, I like the fact that it is sort of a part-time job for me and does not take up my entire day, every day. Thirdly, I like the fact that all I have to do is my job. I don’t need to worry about the business end of it.
