Campion Trail transitions between the natural and urban environments of Las Colinas. The trail runs roughly 7 miles in length. Those who love long hikes enjoy taking their dogs along. The trail’s design makes it easy to stop and start at most areas of the trail.

The locals recommend taking the whole trail and soaking in all the beautiful views. But it is also possible to take just half of the trail. The northern part of the trail runs about 5 miles, and the southern part is only 2 miles. Both options are great to pick and choose depending on what kind of exercise you want to do with your dog.

Also, please remember that it is a paved trail, so please be mindful of temperatures so as not to burn your dog’s feet. It is a pretty safe trail with moderate hills to challenge your stamina. Whatever you do, give this trail a chance in Las Colinas!
