You’ll also enjoy looking at beautiful mid-century mansions on the west side of the lake. They contrast with the modern urban architecture on the east side. You can kayak, cycle, run, and hike around the lake on its paved trails. It’s an excellent place for animal and people-watching. In fact, it’s the most populated lake destination per acre in Dallas.

There is one thing that differentiates White Rock Dog Park from all other parks in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. It is not illegal to take your dog off leash and let him run around the park and fetch a ball in the water. You need to go beyond the fence of the park. The park has impressive mature trees, many watering stations, and a great central location. It truly is a crown jewel for all pet lovers and their dogs.
