A Pet Sitter in Frisco – Plano area Earns Employee of the Month

A pet sitter in Frisco / Plano area earns Employee of the Month in May!

Plano was actually the first area of our expansion from the Valley Ranch / Coppell area. Frisco followed right after. One of our clients moved from La Colinas to Plano back in 2006 (feels just like yesterday I swear!).  And that was the push I needed to hire my first employee in a remote from home location.

It was scary and exciting at the same time. I had no idea how I would be managing people so far away from my home. I knew that weekly face-to-face meetings would not be feasible, so I had to learn how to let go and trust. And the experience has been fascinating.

Let me introduce you to Courtney Bruhn.

She is a very special person who has been pet sitting for our company since 2016.  She lives in North Plano and covers those lucky pet owners who live on the Plano – Frisco border of the metroplex.

Courtney is a 7th-generation Texan! No wonder she’s got a heart the size of her native state!

Pet sitting is a perfect fit for her personality and lifestyle. She grew up in the country and has always had animals in her life. She is also a former vet tech. Courtney has fostered animals, adopted and rescued them, and cannot imagine her life without being around pets.

Over the years, Courtney has met a lot of pet owners who entrusted their four-legged children to her. And pretty much everyone bonds with her for life. She eventually becomes almost like a family member to them. They keep in touch and update her about things. That is her favorite part of being a professional pet sitter.

Her favorite local pet-related business is Woof Pet Store in Plano. She loves getting treats for her furry children there!

Courtney spends most of her free time watching her son play sports. She also loves reading. Photography is another hobby of hers.
